Elevated Viaduct

The bridge is about 653m long and comprises 11 spans of 46.2m and  varying end spans, resting on well foundations in the river portion and piles on the eastern bank.  The prestressed box girder supporting two railway tracks for the MRTS project for Delhi Metro Railway Corporation.  The major part of construction (11 spans of 46.2m) is to be constructed by incremental launching. The remaining spans are cast-in-situ.

The superstructure rests on pot bearings.  Tandon Consultants Private Limited  (New Delhi) are the designers.
