The flyover is 465m long on a 90-degree curve for two-lane highway traffic with a clear carriageway width of 7.5 m. It is designed in accordance with the Indian Roads Congress loading for two vehicles of Class A or one Vehicle of Class AA or one tracked vehicles of Class AA or one vehicles of Class 70R.

The straight approaches of the flyover run north-south at one end and east-west at the other end. The two approaches are linked by a 45 m long transition spiral, a 50 m long circular portion and a 45 m long transition spiral.

The approaches are constructed in 46m long segments each comprising a 14.2m, 17.6m and 14.2m span, except for the 50m long circular part which comprises one 30 m span and one 20m span.

The typical approach as well as the transition spiral consist of three-girder continuous spans in reinforced concrete. The 50m long circular span, which crosses a drainage channel as well as several pipe lines and a road, consists of a continuous two-span reinforced concrete box girder. The bridge is founded on precast concrete pre-bored piles some of which are raked.
