The Viaduct is 1.4km long and comprises 14 spans of  99.9m resting on well foundations.  The construction is balanced cantilever type with precast  match-cast segmental construction.  Expansion joints are provided  at about every 200 meters.

The superstructure is made integral with twin leaf piers.  Dar Consultants (UK) are the designers of the bridge.
