| The 640m long S-shaped road overbridge is provided to cross three broad gauge lines and one road crossing. The bridge deck is of varying width from 8.5m to 10m and intended to cater to two lanes of traffic of NH-17. The bridge is founded on piles. Substructure consists of slender single RCC piers monolithic with the superstructure. The superstructure is continuous RCC shallow T-beams forming multi-bay portals with the piers. Expansion joints are spaced at approximately 120m. |
