| The 68m long bridge supports a single line railway track with a walkway on one side. The bridge crosses a 10m wide
nallah. The abutments are spill-through. The superstructure, which is in reinforced concrete, consists of a continuous reinforced concrete flat beam with 12m spans. The reinforced concrete piers are 25m high with a monolithic joint with the deck. The superstructure was cast on specially fabricated steel trusses which were moved as the construction progressed. Monolithic construction ensured maintenance-free slender construction. |
