This 90m long bridge over a 35 m wide nullah or stream supports a single-line railway track with a walkway on one side and a cable tray. It comprises reinforced concrete decking laid in a span configuration. The reinforced concrete superstructure consists of a continuous reinforced concrete flat beam with 10m spans. The reinforced concrete plate piers are 20m high with a monolithic joint with the deck. The deck is articulated at one end and is anchored at the other end through end piers braced to form a truss.

The spill-through abutments and the abutment columns form part of the truss. The superstructure was cast on specially fabricated steel trusses which were moved as construction progressed. Monolithic construction ensured maintenance-free, slender construction.
